I enjoyed the SSN&S 45th Annual Visitor's Guide that I received with my paper this month. I remember proofing the guide when I worked at the newspaper. Every household needs this when you have visitors. There are free copies available at the SSN&S.
On the front page of the SSN&S April 11th was a Totality Amazing report about the Eclipse and photos on pages two and 12. Also on the front page were photos and report of the Pecan Capital Trade Days. The photos showed the booth of Dr. Jonathan Hager and family. In 2019 or 2020 my husband Larry and I were cataract patients of Dr. Hager. At that time, he was looking for property to buy, and Larry and Dr. Hager planned hunting together. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the Gospel Rocks Ranch camp where kids can come to have fun and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Many, I mean hosts of people are praying for God's protection during these perilous times we are now living. There are wars and rumors of war, increase in crime, hate, perversion, false prophets, wickedness, earthquakes, famines and nation against nation. It is recorded in the Bible, Matthew 6:8-13, KJV that Jesus spoke: “Your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
